Audit Mission & Approach

MISSION STATEMENT

To grow healthy client organisations, by advising them on accountability, and integrity.

Defintion of Auditing

The process which ensures accounting information is communicated to the users:

    according to standards,
and in a manner that is understandable for them,
and is not misleading or false.

Therefore, we are one accountant, learning from those astute accountants who achieve the above, so as to gain wisdom to pass onto those accountants who need guidance.

Team Approach

We need to be an informed team of workers with good judgement. That is we endeavour to communicate our knowledge of clients, the audit process, and service development, primarily though a documented audit file. During this process there will be client related issues, where we will need to discern, when to be assertive, or when to be compassionate, in our advice, that comes from a sound diagnosis of the client financial health issues.

A team helps to develop each person’s character, and their skills concurrently.  To always believe in ourselves’, and the contribution each person makes to the team.  To find areas of learning, that gives us the satisfaction of achievement, and pass relevant summaries of that learning, on to others.
A team player has a humorous approach to their mistakes, and an edifying approach to others mistakes.

An Important Audit Question

How do accountant’s best convey the financial health and development of a people caring organisation, to those who support it?
